Making Cartridge Tubes
What do you need:

1. Sheets of paper (A4). Blank sheets, or printed sheets, it doesn't really matter, it is perhaps a good opportunity to recycle all those printed pages that otherwise end up in the garbage bin. You could also use pages from the phone directory.

2. A rod. Use a length of wooden rod with a diameter of 15 to 17 mm, and some 15 cm long. You can buy bits of dowel with the correct diameter and about a meter long in every DIY store. Just saw off what you need. Cut out a bit on one side, so that you get a hollow.

How to do it:

1. Take a sheet of paper. Cut it in 4 according to the diagram below. Repeat this with more paper, or cut a number at a time. (Cut where it says "snijden")

2. Now put a bit of paper in front of you, with the sharp point on the top left side, as shown below

3. Put the rod on the paper, horizontally, and almost level with the bottom edge, as shown on the left. The hollow side to the left. Leave about 1 tot 1.5 cm on the left side

4. Now roll a tight tube. Turn the loose end on the left like a toffee. Turn tight, but make sure it doesn't rip, and bang it on the table a couple of times.

5. Now get the rod out of the tube. If it has been rolled well, you'll hear a popping sound
